Okay, so it’s almost a Teaser Wednesday! Nevertheless, it’s after 5:00pm and my corporate hat is firmly OFF. So before I head home for the day, I wanted to get this post out. Habits, both good and bad, are formed one act at a time, right? I’ll try to make Teaser Tuesday a regular habit. If not a weekly one, at least monthly for a start.
This is the prologue from my WIP. It’s not much of a teaser, but its a start.
It has been said that Time is like a river and that we are like fallen leaves adrift upon it. The current carries us along on the crest of the wave of the Now as each day ceaselessly passes into the next. Minute by minute, hour by hour, generation by generation we travel ever onward from a past we’ve left behind toward a future we cannot know. If Time truly is like a river then the Citadel of Kidrodell is like a solitary dock . . . with many slips.
